Hi everyone,

I installed windows 7 on my machine and after an update, it managed to destroy my Ubuntu Linux and Windows XP partitions. So I'm doing a clean install on my PC.

I want to know which versions of QT is everyone using. Previously I used 4.1.1 but I've read that some students are using newer versions of Qt? I wouldn't want the lecturers not to be able to compile my assignment 3.

Any suggestions?

I'll code in my favourite environment and then test it by running it on the recommended Unisa installation on my windows partition

Me too. I code using 4.5 but double check on 4.1.1 before doing anything on the assignment. But, if you're only using the classes and methods in the textbook, you should be fine since things have only been added in successive versions, not taken away.

Thanks guys,

I'll try installing the latest Qt and test just the same as you guys.
