I just emailed this letter; lets see if I get a response. I will post any response in this thread.
I am studying for an Honours degree in Computer Science at UNISA and your paper was referenced.
CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS WHO FAILED (OR SUCCEEDED) THE INTRODUCTORY CS COURSE
Found in: 33rd Annual Frontiers in Education (FIE'03)
By J. Gal-Ezer, T. Vilner, E. Zur
Issue Date: November 2003
I noticed that it was a working paper and did not contain your conclusions.
Were your conclusions ever published? And if so where should I go to find them?
NB: I have edited out the irrelevant parts of the email
Now to your question: Actually while investigating the introductory course we were
pushed towards the gender issue and have results regarding gender including the
introductory course. We have no further results on the original issue we started
with. You can go to my website (which is pretty updated):
Hope this was of some assistance,
