UNISA Java Programming course - good to expand knowledge of web site programming?

Mac,

wouldn't it be a good idea to do this course in Java programming to expand the knowledge in programming nice web sites?
For me I would then have knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and Java which, of course, has to be deepened by practice and experience.
The only problem I see, if any, is that I do not fulfill the prerequisite of programming experience in any structured language such as Pascal or C.

What do you think?

As far as I am concerned Java is for desktop applications and PHP for the Internet....but that's my viewpoint.
