Hi.

This question is a bit misleading. I know it is after the fact, but checking through the answers. One of the requirements is all words with a length of three. The language name gives a clue of the language, but what if the language name is, for example, BOB. The answer will be the same, but the generators will be the only words in the language.

regards

Yes, the words 'multiple of' was mistakenly left out of the def of the language.
It should have read:

...the language MULTIPLEofTHREEAA that constitutes all words with a length of 'multiple of' three that contain the aa-substring,...

However, the name of the language and the options given should have been enough indication as to which words are actually in the language.

When doing assignments, students have the option of contacting a lecturer if something is not clear. Be assured that if a question is not very clear in an exam paper, it will not be marked.
